HPD Arrests Suspect for Embezzling Nearly $1 Million

HARRISONBURG, VA – On October 12, 2021 the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board (HRCSB) contacted the Harrisonburg Police Department regarding an employee suspected of embezzling a substantial sum of money between 2019 and 2021.

The suspect was identified as Andrew Hahn, 36, of Winchester, who was employed as the Information Technology (IT) Manager at the HRCSB. HRCSB management was alerted by other employees to minor discrepancies and missing equipment, which triggered an internal investigation and an external financial audit. Hahn, who was terminated after the start of the investigation, is accused of embezzling nearly $1 million from the agency. Read more HERE
