Mask mandate to be suspended March 14 at Virginia’s Community Colleges

From VCCS.EDU Guided by state and federal health officials who were concerned about a surge in coronavirus cases caused by the highly contagious Delta variant, VCCS Chancellor Glenn DuBois announced last summer that everyone in indoor spaces on our campuses and other VCCS facilities would be required to wear a facemask, whether or not they’d been vaccinated against Covid-19. Now, with public health circumstances evolving, the VCCS mask mandate is about to be suspended. Dr. DuBois sent an advisory to all VCCS faculty and staff on February 25.
