The Timberville Police Department is excited to announce a new program to help maintain and improve the safety of our community.
We will soon add a K-9 to our roster! Our new partner will be trained to detect drugs as well as search for people.
Due to the extensive cost of starting a canine program, we are asking for financial support from the community. We have listed below the major expenses, and we anticipate an annual recurring cost of $2000+ for food, vet bills, and other routine expenses.
If you are willing to sponsor a component of the program, or if you are willing and able to financially support the program, we are happy to accept any donations you may offer.
Donations can be made payable to the Town of Timberville.
