Officers with the Waynesboro Police Department responded to the 200 Block of N. Poplar Ave. in reference to a report of shots fired. Officers found that a fight had occured and both the alleged suspect and victim had fled the area. Several parties involved have been identified and the ongoing investigation has revealed this is as an isolated incident. No injuries from the shooting have been reported.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident to determine what led to the shooting and ID all parties involved.
