Bridgewater Council approves pharmacy and townhouse projects

At the Tuesday Bridgewater Town Council Meeting, the coucil approved the sale of land on North Main Street for a potential new pharmacy to move to town. The town has been without a pharmacy for several years, and the project had been mentioned since then several times by residents as a town "want".

Also the Bridgewater Planning Commission recommended approval of 139 new townhomes - later the council passed the motion. Along with the townhome proposal came a request to extend Turner Ashby Drive to help with increased traffic concerns in the nearby neighborhood.
