Friday’s football game at Strasburg High School was canceled out of what online posts from the School's athletic social media accounts say was, "an abundance of caution".
Strasburg Athletics posted to their Twitter account Friday afternoon that the school division learned of comments made on social media that threatened the safety of students and fans at Friday night’s game at Strasburg High School.
The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office says the alleged threat came from a student at Strasburg High School and that the SCSO has been in touch with the county's Commonwealth Attorney.
No charges had been placed as of Friday evening
